A small brief about this Polypropylene pressure sensitive Tear Tapes is:
They are basically used as an easy opening device. For example they can be seen in all Cigarette packets in India. They can be used for easy opening of the package by consumers. They can be used to open packages like over wraps, Flow wraps, metalised Aluminum films, mono cartons / fiberboards, corrugated boxes, hermetically sealed packets etc.
As a value addition these tapes can carry prints up to 8 colors which can carry Brand value information on your package creating awareness to the consumers.
They can also help in anti counterfeiting by providing security prints of information of covert or overt type.
The tapes are of three types:
Supastrip: They are of two thicknesses: 26 microns and 40 microns applied in over wraps, flow wraps, metalised aluminum films etc
Rippatape: To be applied on Mono cartons, corrugated boxes, fibre boards.
Vak tape: To be applied on packages which require hermetical seal.
Application:
The Tape will be supplied in Reel form to you. The reel is to be mounted on a dispenser which will be attached to your existing machine. Depending on the type of machine the dispenser system will vary. PP Payne will also support with the dispensers to you. It is a very simple process.
